Abstract :
This paper deals with the problem mobile terminals face when different QoS signaling protocols, than the one installed in the mobile terminal, operates in visited access networks. We present a framework for construction of mobile terminals architectures that can dynamically reconfigure among protocols that offer similar services. Further, we employ the framework to develop an architecture that can dynamically change its operation in order to adapt to the offered QoS signaling protocol. Experiments are also presented so as to estimate the architecture´s reconfiguration and processing time.
