Abstract :
A radiology workstation called Imagenet is briefly described. It is a system for the acquisition, display, analysis, and storage of radiographic images. Images are directly acquired from clinical imaging systems in several seconds without interrupting patient activity. The images are stored in a database as part of a reference and teaching file. Up to 10000 images can be stored on a removable 5 1/4-in optical disk. Radiologists can use the workstation to recall previous or related studies for review and comparison
