  • Abstract
    Techniques of one ground electrodes shared by two DC transmission systems (which called common ground electrode) are blanks in our country now. In this paper, a common ground electrode used in Yunnan-Guangdong DC transmission system and Guizhou-Guangdong II DC transmission system is presented. The scheme and the effect to the whole DC transmission system of common ground electrode are analyzed in detail. In addition, the corresponding solving method and suggestion of the negative influence to the DC transmission system are given.
