Abstract :
The development of an educational procedure to compare the glomerular filtration rate in Spontaneously Hypertensive and Wistar-Kyoto rats using creatinine clearance is described. Blood and urine samples will be collected from the rats and the creatinine concentration will be measured in these samples. The GFR will be calculated and compared using a one-tailed t-test.
