Abstract :
With the development of electricity markets, there are more and more attentions to the theory and applications of tracing power flow (TPF). But the relevant researches are mainly focused on the models and algorithms of TPF. There are few of studies on the curve of TPF(CTPF) considering the changes of operation states. From the results of TPF, the data sets of load extraction from generator and generation output are established. This paper proposes the model of CTPF for analyzing power distributions and extractions varied with the change of generation outputs based on the data set. This model is solved by using the least square method. The definition of sensitivity for TPF is also presented and the approximate computation model is obtained according to Taylor series, which can avoid calculating TPF repeatedly. The applications of CTPF in the fields of dynamic TPF and transmission congestion management are also discussed. The test on IEEE30 buses system and other practical systems show that the proposed algorithm is effective.
