Abstract
The UHF wave propagation in a city street is analyzed. The street is modeled as a planar waveguide with multiple slits and screens distributed deterministically. The propagation characteristics are found by utilizing the ray-optical method. This approach is expressed by fields of multiple rays which go through different routes between the transmitter and the receiver. In order to reduce the losses from the final field due the non-homogeneity of the street, the modeling by this guide is proposed.
