Abstract :
Split-phase (dual three-phase or six-phase) drive systems are an interesting alternative of existing standard solutions. This paper describes operation of four-inverter-based six-phase system with special scheme of control and modulation, providing mutual compensation of common-mode voltages of dual inverters and continuous synchronization of the phase voltages. MATLAB-based simulations illustrate behavior of this multi-inverter system with symmetrical voltage waveforms.
