Abstract :
EMC testing of video graphics products is a challenging field. With clock frequencies and video resolutions going higher and higher with every new generation, meeting the regulatory limits is, by itself, very complicated. Standards for electromagnetic emissions measurement exist, so that, at least, every product can be tested in a similar and repeatable way. In its effort, ANSI C63.4 describes the configuration that is to be used for the video graphic interface. This definition has been used for years, but a consensus is taking place in the community that the configuration should be revised so that similarity and repeatability are enhanced.
