Abstract
This paper present the data acquisition system of 20 kVA three phase SMES-based voltage sag restorer device. The control of the voltage source inverter also described . The experimental results show the validation of the data acquisition and the voltage source inverter control system. In the experiment important data of the system is recorded. It can be seen that the system works well in the experiment. Also the way of control method suitably compensates the sag of the voltage. The recording data can be used for evaluating the dynamic performance of device and for further research on control method to improve the performance of SMES system. It is also helpful to design 500 kVA SMES system.
