Abstract
With the continuous development of the international aviation industry, air traffic flow at the large hub airports during peak hours has gradually increased. Terminal area and the airport become a major bottleneck restricting the flow of the entire aviation. This paper studies a runway configuration problem considering the taxi time and cost of each aircraft for not only improving the efficiency of airport operations, but also improving the passenger satisfaction. The problem can be solved in 40 - 50 seconds in most of the cases, and will greatly reduce the taxi cost and time.
