Abstract :
This paper deals with a special (supplementary) fuel control system (SFCS) meant to assist the supplementary engine´s combustor, which operates when the cooling fluid injection system (CFIS) is also active. One has established the SFCS mathematical model and one has also performed some computer simulations, using experimental data for an existing jet engine, VK-1A. Two situations, involving CFIS pump driving, were studied. Simulations results (system step response), for both situations, were presented. Further studies should be extended for multi-spool engines.
