Abstract
Electrochemical measurements used in corrosion testing of metals were used to evaluate the galvanic compatibility of electrically conductive elastomers used for shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Differences in open circuit potentials can distinguish which elastomer-metal substrate couples are compatible and those that are prone to corrosion damage.
