  • Abstract
Based on data of land use change and socio-economic statistical data, and by the improved Liu Jiyuan Land Use Degree Comprehensive Index Model (LJLUDCIM) and the Comprehensive Index Method (CIM), this paper evaluates the land use degree and effect in Yan´an City. Then Dynamic Coupling Model (DCM) is adopted to study the relationship between them. The results show that: the land compound system, consisting of land use degree and effect, is in the transition from coordinated development to ultimate development; In future, great uncertainty exists; challenges and opportunities of land use co-exist; whether to achieve land resources sustainable use in future, greatly depends on whether to deal with the relationship between land use and eco-environmental construction.
