Abstract :
This paper proposes that using the Modelica modeling language constructs a power systems electromagnetic transient simulation environment whose model code is completely open. The simulation platform is composed of several electrical system component packages and some base packages by using the object-oriented technology, and it can use for component modeling, dynamic analyzing and simulating of power system continuous dynamics, discrete event dynamics, hybrid dynamics. This platform is also adaptable to modeling and simulation of multi-domain systems. Finally, the paper gives a case and some simulating results to confirm the rationality of this simulation platform.
