Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a novel global optimization technique inspired by the process of natural evolution. The employed analogy is that of searching from the simple to the complex, i.e. evolving solutions to problems with gradually increased complexity. The algorithm is applied to the test functions of the First International Contest on Evolutionary Optimization, which was held during this conference
