Abstract :
To improve the complex problem of traditional one-dimensional camera calibration, spatial perpendicular intersect calibration algorithm is proposed for decreasing the calibration cost. In this paper, the calibration method of camera perpendicular intersect lines is put forward for constructing a related calculation model and calculating calibration parameters; while two perpendicular intersect lines in a same plane are treated as calibration objects and are rotated at any angle, a camera fixedly captures multiple images to establish linear equations and calculate calibration parameters with the use of linear features and vertical constraint conditions. The Matlab software was applied to simulate the calibration algorithm and the result indicates that the calibration algorithm of perpendicular intersect lines is simple, convenient, and has high precision.
