Abstract :
The effect of multipath propagation poses a serious problem in indoor wireless communications. To counteract this phenomenon a phase-locked array antenna is proposed whose internal adaptation loop is based on a new algorithm using nonlinear locking of the more-or-less type. The performance criterion of this system is maximisation of received signal power at the output of the array. The latter consists of eight horns operating in the K-band. For experimental validation of the approach, a series of measurements as been made and the results are presented and compared with theoretical predictions
