Abstract
In this paper, the treatment of water stress to Lindera communis seeds were made through polyethylene glycol (PEG) with various densities. The test showed that with a decrease of water potential, germination rate increased at the temperate water stress, but decreased in total. When polyethylene glycol (PEG) density rose to 15%, germination speed, germination exponent, vitality exponent, sprout length all decreased to varying degrees. When polyethylene glycol (PEG) density rose to 25%, the entire index was restrained intensely. The results showed that Lindera communis has a certainty drought tolerance at the temperate water stress.
