Abstract :
The paper introduces the latest requirements for consumer products implemented in Singapore with effect from April 1, 2003 under the Consumer Protection Regulations. It presents the safety authority´s requirements, supplier and controlled goods registration, certificate of conformity and safety mark. It also covers the latest list of controlled goods under the current consumer product safety scheme (CPS certification).
