Abstract
A novel digital on-channel repeater (DOCR) for terrestrial-digital multimedia broadcasting (T-DMB) is presented to effectively mitigate the interference in time-varying frequency selective channels. Problem of conventional DOCR are analyzed, and a new energy equalizer and channel estimation techniques are proposed. Simulation results confirm the BER performance improvement of T-DMB in time-varying typical urban channel.
