Abstract
This article describes modifications in the usual interrogator techniques for improve sensitivity of Fiber Bragg Grating Interrogator Systems for embedded applications in a triaxial fiber optical accelerometer in development for aerospace applications. Those modifications were made in optical architecture and in electronic compensations of detected signal, being optimized for strain measurements. Observed results shows compensation of thermal variations in strain measures and power source variations, as well as cancellation of spurious cavity feedbacks that cause measurement variations due to light interference.
