  • Abstract
Least time-maximum probability (LT-MP) is a principle that governs all statistical theories, such as the LT-MP theory of lightning propagation. The LT-MP theory of lightning propagation is consistent with Ohm´s law and Maxwell´s equations. The LT-MP theory of lightning propagation provides a scientific basis and the technical justification for lightning protection.
