Abstract :
In this paper, we have presented an efficient RD model for adaptive redundant picture allocation in the packet loss environment. The proposed method revealed the inherent relationship between the potential error-propagated distortion and the characteristics of the input source video sequence. Moreover, this method can be effectively applied to low-bitrate transmissions seen in mobile phone.
