Abstract
Bi-directional routing and corresponding control mechanism are proposed for data vortex packet switching interconnection network. Performance Improvement in both the throughput and the packet latency has been shown in the study. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of backpressure reduction, especially for networks with limited routing redundancy.
