Abstract :
This paper deals with the design of automated partial discharge measurement system. The design of an automated partial discharge measurement system using an agilent oscilloscope and a personal computer is stated. In this kind of measurement system, if specimen capacitance is higher, then there´s a need to use amplifier. In this partial discharge measurement system personal computer and oscilloscope is connected via GPIB interface. The software written in personal computer is capable of doing automated calibration.
