Abstract :
This paper examines the impact of the winding and gap flux density harmonics on the performance of a brushless doubly fed reluctance machine (BDFRM). The paper shows the impact of the interaction of the primary and secondary windings harmonic on the possible performance of the machine. The paper highlights the significance of the choice of pole numbers on the possible performance.
