Abstract :
The effects of complex absorbent containing metal ions and surfactants on the removal efficiency of 1,2,4-TCB were studied by single factor experiments. Lab-scale bubbling reactor was designed to removal 1,2,4-TCB in simulation flue gas. The result showed that 94.9% of the removal efficiency can be obtained when the concentration of tween-80 was 0.2%; Sodium lauryl benzenesulfate (SDBS) could not improve the removal efficiency of 1,2,4-TCB. Fe2+ and Ni2+ were proved have no significant effect to the removal efficiency; Removal efficiency could be improved to 94.5% when the concentration of Cu2+ was 0.02%. Moreover, Cu2+ could prolong penetration time of complex absorbent and increase the quantity of 1,2,4-TCB removed. This work would offer important basic data for industrial application in the future.
