A survey on shareware protection schemes

There have been many methods to protect our software against illegal hacking acts. But because of the problems existing in practical application, the protection effect is uneven and leaves much to be desired. Beginning with the present situation and relevance of shareware protection, we introduced the commonly used shareware protection schemes and analyzed its advantages and disadvantages, combined with the problems of shareware protection, discussed the challenges and proposed several ways to improve the strength of protection.
