Abstract
Determining in-service motor efficiencies is important to industries concerned with energy conservation and cost savings. However, nonintrusive efficiency measurements of installed motors can be difficult to obtain and even more difficult to verify. This paper evaluates and compares twelve motor efficiency methods through laboratory testing to assess their accuracy and precision. An analysis of the methods and implementation procedures is discussed
