Abstract
This paper discusses the zero disparity filter of an active vision system based on wavelet representation of stereo images. Since the wavelet decomposition process introduces spatial orientation selectivity, it is easy to distinguish the similarity between the left and the right image at different resolutions, which is of advantage for extracting zero disparity features in the stereo images. Results of real stereo images are given
