Abstract :
The geophysical imaging technology of high-density electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) was tested to characterize the infiltration process in low-permeable bedrock in-situ. The distributional pattern of the bedrock resistivity images obtained during the infiltration at different times by ERT clearly illustrates the properties of infiltration process and the characters of percolation in the low-permeable bedrock. This indicates that it is feasible to characterize the three-dimensional infiltration process happened in bedrock by ERT and the application prospect that acquiring the parameters of the low-permeable media is profound.
