Abstract :
We have developed a novel planar polarizer feed network utilizing quadrature hybrid circuits. This feed network allows dual circular polarization and has inherent isolation capability, its design is based on simple circuit modeling, and it can be tested independently. The feed network developed has been utilized to fabricate a 2/spl times/2 sequentially rotated linearly polarized Ku band element array for dual circular radiation, where an over-500 MHz band with less than 1.5 dB axial ratio has been demonstrated.
