Abstract :
A SPS (Solar Power Station / Satellite) is a gigantic satellite designed as an electric power plant and transmits the electricity via microwave to a receiving site on the Earth. In Japan, a panel-structure SPS was proposed. The panel-structure SPS is difficult to maintain flatness of transmission antenna surface. Thus, we describe one of the beam correction method called PAC (Position and Angle Correction) method in this paper. The PAC method have a problem with panel gradient estimation and we can correct the transmission microwave phases only when the gradients of the panel modules have to be very low. Hence, we modify the panel gradient estimation of the PAC method and propose an improved PAC method. By using the improved PAC method, we can correct the phases even if the panel module gradients are large.
