Abstract :
In this paper, we present the effect of the bank of capacity linked to stator windings, which used for the excitation of the generator to regulate the amplitude of produced voltage and frequency. The machine that we study is the Double Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). The main object is to control voltage amplitude and the frequency by simple access to the produced power. Note that this generator is frequently used to the wind turbine and gives birth to the Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS). Looking to the instability of the wind and its variable speed, this condition makes very variable voltage amplitude. This result impresses a variable excitation system to stabilize voltage amplitude and the frequency.
