Abstract :
A novel joint transform correlator(JTC) is designed. In this technique, phase-encoding method is used to reduce the influence of the extraneous signals such as zero order term, the conjugate cross-correlations between reference and input targets, etc. To sharpen the correlation peaks, a modified logarithmic transform algorithm is proposed, which greatly improve the discrimination ability. Simulation results show the proposed system performs well in both noise-free and noisy environment.
