Abstract :
In this paper, the transmission characteristic of EMP with fast rise-time in bounded-wave simulator is studied. The double exponential waveform is used as pulse power. The time-domain analysis of electric field is studied using the method of moment (MoM). The result indicates that the rise-time of EMP is increase with the distance of transmission. The transmission of electromagnetic field in EMP simulator with fast rise-time has the characteristic of TEM (transverse electromagnetic) wave.
