Abstract
In this paper, we introduce a new digital spectrometer for low frequency solar radio observation based on FPGA. The single ADC´s sampling rate is at 204.8Msps (Million sampling per second), so the input bandwidth of this spectrometer can reach 204.8MHz based on Nyquist sampling theorist. The input dynamic range of this spectrometer can achieve nearly 72dBm because of multi-bit sampling. In the same time, this spectrometer´s spectral resolution can be set 0.2MHz/channel, 0.4MHz/channel and 0.8MHz/channel by program, and time resolution can also be set 2ms, 5ms and 10ms by program.
