Abstract
The plasma resonating structures are carefully designed periodical materials exhibiting various novel phenomena and different properties that have not been expected from ordinary bulk plasmas. In this study, a previously validated magnetized cold plasma FDTD algorithm is utilized to investigate such novel materials. Simulation results for structure resonances arising from coherence effects are to be discussed. Initial modeling results for the interactions of electromagnetic waves with plasma periodic structures will also be covered during the talk.
