Abstract
The concept of e-learning has reached beyond use of presentations, videos. Augmented reality (AR) based systems are preferred to support teaching and learning activities along with these e-learning systems. In this paper we present a systematic review of such prototypes developed for educational purposes and compare their usability for finding benefits of AR. It also focuses on use of web 2.0 tools in e- learning and combined use of both technologies.
