Abstract :
We present a method in 3D face recognition without variable expression images in BJUT-3D database. In this paper used central profiles of face as facial features, which eliminate the chin, above hairs and neck. In this method we find a central region of 3D faces and extract diagonal profiles of nose region as individual feature face. The next step compares the profiles to recognize 3D faces. The experimental results indicate that diagonal profiles contain diacritic information in this region. Diagonal profiles on nose region achieve the highest performance 100% in without facial expression images with BJUT-3D database. Computational results demonstrator the accuracy and efficiency, which has been used in commercial applications.
