  • Abstract
The paper deals with the resonances in power systems. The aim of the paper is to present the method which allows to investigate more complex cases of resonance. For simple case of exciting resonance the condition of resonance includes only two quantities, i.e. a voltage and a current. In the paper such cases are considered in which the condition of resonance includes more quantities, e.g. a voltage and a sum of currents or a current and a sum of voltages. The described method allows to apply uniform approach to solution of the problem of the determination of resonant frequencies, currents and voltages for these frequencies. The approach, which is used in the method, is based on utilization of the state equations for a power system. Unknowns in these equations are resonant frequency, currents and voltages for this frequency. In the paper the way of solving the mentioned equations is presented. Then, the computational example is given. At the end, the features of the presented method are characterized.
