Abstract :
The author considers a sinusoidal grating of finite width as an example of gratings with nonplane boundaries and analyzes the problem of diffraction of a plane electromagnetic wave using the Wiener-Hopf technique combined with the perturbation scheme. This problem is one of the generalizations to the diffraction by a corrugated half-plane treated by Das Gupta (1970).<>
