Abstract
Aspects of the construction of near-singularity cancellation transformations for triangular integration domains are discussed. Such transformations form the basis of near-singularity cancellation quadrature rules used in the method of moments (MoM). The main benefits of such rules are that they can easily be applied to curvilinear domains as well as in cases where higher-order basis functions are employed. Case studies are presented for the Duffy transformation, Arcsinh transformation and Radial-Angular / Augmented-Duffy transformation. The aim is to contribute to a better understanding of the construction and performance of such rules.
