Abstract
Brazilian contributions to the study of the Electron Content are shown. These studies gave a major contribution for understanding the errors in the measurements made with the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) receivers. Furthermore, a correlation study with the solar activity, and global maps illustrating the behavior of the Ionospheric Equatorial Anomaly are shown.
