Abstract :
Internal interactions between control paths are a pivotal issue in multifunction FACTS controller design. One of the main stages of controller synthesis is an appropriate interaction analysis. This paper presents an analysis of interactions of Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC). It is shown that multifunction operation of UPFC controller could be a source of interactions. The test system analysis has been performed on the basis of linear system control theory.
