Abstract :
This paper observes that TCP Veno deals with random losses conservatively over high bandwidth-delay product (BDP) networks. We propose to use a variable named pBDP to help Veno handle random losses more intelligently. The simulation results demonstrate that, such enhancement can improve Veno´s throughput up to 80%
