Title :
The Windows NT operating system on a PowerPC microprocessor
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
This paper describes some of the major obstacles which were encountered and overcome during the porting of the Windows NT operating system to a PowerPC processor. The Motorola team charged with doing the porting is quite small relative to the scope of the project. Fortunately, the modularity and portability of the operating system structure allows for a small and specialized design team to be quite effective.<>
