Abstract :
Tests were run to determine the degree of degradation to intelligibility caused by implementation of simulcast versus single transmitter systems. Test involved running vehicles with observers over predetermined routes through simulcast and nonsimulcast systems. Observers´ ratings showed that the degradation to intelligibility due to simulcast was slight.
