Abstract
This paper describes parameters and characteristics of 4-rotor helicopter. Unstable character of the system can be suppressed by a two-stage PID regulator. The tuning is very complex due to aerodynamic changes near floor. The sensor system consists of four 3-axis MEMS accelerometers and two 3-axis gyroscopes due to increasing accuracy.
