Abstract :
In industry measuring field, or cable television system, attenuator is a kind of familiar electronic measuring instrument, usually located between signal source and its load. It not only can be used for regulating signal voltage to prevent loading circuit overloading, but also can provides the measured system with standard weak signal and satisfies the voltage requirement of port. This paper introduces the design of fixed attenuator based on resistance network, and the realization of multi-node adjustable attenuator by proper design of single fixed attenuators. Firstly, the thinking pattern of this design is given, and then the realization technology is illuminated, in the end, after the testing of practical electric circuit, the frequency response curve is shown under different attenuation.
